Rebates

How trading-fee rebates work

Your trading terms stay the same. You can receive part of the fees and spread you pay. Start with how it works, then see how to receive it.

Why is a rebate possible?

A broker or exchange pays an introducing partner part of the fee. Trader In passes most of that payment back to you.

1You trade

Fees and spread arise when you trade as usual.

2The venue receives the fee

The broker or exchange collects that fee.

3The partner is paid

Part of it is paid to Trader In, the introducing partner.

4You receive a rebate

[00]% of that payment is returned to you.

There is no extra charge. If you receive a rebate, your fees and spread are the same as opening the account yourself.

Rebate terms by partner

Each partner uses a different basis. CFDs are usually based on volume in lots. Exchanges are usually based on a share of the fee you paid.

Do I pay a higher fee if I receive a rebate?

No. Your trading terms are the same as if you joined directly. The rebate comes from what the partner pays an introducer.

Do losing trades still count?

Yes. The rebate is based on volume, or on the fee you paid, whether the trade made or lost money. [Confirm against each partner’s terms.]
